The Botanista Apothecary - Ingredient List

Every ingredient in our formulations is chosen with purpose.

For nearly two decades, we have studied, tested, refined, and thoughtfully reformulated our products with one guiding goal: creating gentle, nourishing skincare for sensitive and reactive skin.

Before an ingredient finds its way into one of our products, we spend time studying its traditional uses, safety profile, available scientific literature, and how it works alongside other ingredients within a formula. We believe that thoughtful formulation begins with understanding not only what an ingredient does, but why it belongs there.

Our products are intentionally crafted using botanical oils, plant extracts, humectants, antioxidants, minerals, waxes, and naturally derived ingredients selected for their unique properties and compatibility with sensitive skin.

The information below reflects the research that guides our formulation process. It is intended to help you better understand the ingredients we use and why they are included in our products.

While we continually review scientific studies and published research, this information is provided for educational purposes only and is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease or medical condition.

We invite you to explore the ingredients that make up our collection and discover the thoughtful care behind every formula.
